WHONE Finishes Electrical Project for Qingyang Coal Washing Plant, Gansu

2026-06-12

The full electrical supporting project for a large coal washing plant in Qingyang mountain mining area, fully undertaken by WHONE, has been successfully finished. Launched in March 2026 and fully handed over in June, the whole cycle lasted three months, covering equipment manufacturing, mountain transportation, on-site installation, wiring, commissioning and power acceptance. The complete power supply system is ready for stable formal operation.
Located in secluded mountainous terrain, the site was challenged by complicated civil construction, long-distance cargo delivery and complicated coordination of cross-trade works. Our professional engineering team stayed on-site throughout construction, coordinating electrical integration with core facilities including coal separation workshop, raw coal silos and fully enclosed belt conveyor trestles. Site photos show the finished multi-story coal sorting building matched with large-span steel conveyor bridges and paved operation yard; massive concrete raw coal storage silos connect seamlessly with heavy-duty transfer trestles, with coal trucks and auxiliary civil structures fully equipped, forming the complete physical framework of the coal washing plant.

WHONE self-developed high and low voltage complete switchgears serve as the core power backbone of the whole production line. Two rows of KYN 10kV medium voltage switchgears with 1250A isolating handcart are installed in the high-voltage power room, equipped with relay protection, remote monitoring and quick fault trip functions to manage main grid incoming, power distribution and transformer transmission, forming a standardized power distribution corridor. Low voltage MCC motor control cabinets supply and control all production loads such as belt conveyors, fans, water pumps and main washing machines. Each cabinet is equipped with intelligent monitoring meters, operation buttons and status indicator lights, decorated with red ribbons for power-on commissioning. All devices passed no-load and loaded double tests with fully qualified interlock safety protection.

All procedures from factory prefabrication to final energization were carried out by WHONE’s in-house certified engineers. All products meet strict mining standards of dust resistance and 24/7 heavy-load continuous operation, perfectly fitting the high-intensity working condition of Qingyang mine.

Delivering a qualified project on schedule within merely three months under harsh mountain construction conditions proves WHONE’s strong capability in turnkey power distribution solutions for coal and mineral mines, marking another benchmark project for our business expansion in Northwest China’s mining industry. Moving forward, WHONE will keep supplying reliable complete electrical equipment, full-cycle on-site technical support and customized power solutions to facilitate safer and intelligent upgrading for industrial and mining enterprises nationwide.
